HANNAH RUWE
Hannah (she/her) is an actor currently based in Chicago, IL recently moved from Seattle, WA and a proud member of the Actor's Equity Union.
In Seattle, she was a member of two ensembles, The American Chekhov Project, a company dedicated to producing the work of Anton Chekhov in their long-form rehearsal process, and The Horse in Motion, an experimental theatre troupe specializing in devised and immersive theatre. While in Seattle, she had the pleasure to work for Seattle Repertory Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, ACT, Seattle Public Theatre, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Sound Theatre Company and more.
Favorite roles include Lainey Dwyer in the TV Series pilot Complete Bull and Margo in The Diary of Anne Frank, a co-production between Indiana Repertory Theatre and Seattle Children's Theatre.
Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in Theatre: Performance and an MFA in Acting at DePaul University in Chicago. She is represented by Grossman & Jack Talent in Chicago and Innovative Artists In New York for voice over work.
In her spare time, she loves to cook her iconic salt and pepper tofu, take pictures of her cats, and flip furniture. Thanks for visiting!
